This is Pars Omni

Pars Omni is the instructional arm of the Educational Development Corporation. The Educational Development Corporation, founded in 1983, specializes in the development and delivery of accelerated and effective instructional programs for children and adults. The majority of our work to date has been in these areas: foreign language instruction for adults and children, and reading instruction for children.

All of our programs use the suggestopedic teaching method developed by Drs. Georgi Lozanov and Evelyna Gateva. Their work has been documented in book and film by various organizations, including UNESCO. Dr. Lozanov is a consultant to Pars Omni insuring that our programs benefit from the latest research.

Pars Omni® trainers have delivered accelerated foreign language classes, seminars and workshops in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Africa and Austria. In the U.S. most of our clients have been corporations and government agencies, though we have delivered many classes to the general public, as well.

At Pars Omni our main objective is to provide the most effective educational programs that are available anywhere. When we say "effective" we refer to these three qualities:

• Rapid: we expect to achieve particular results 2 to 5 times more quickly than is possible with conventional approaches.
  
  
• Practical: we focus on each student's ability to use new knowledge in daily life outside the classroom.
  
  
• Healthy: Pars Omni® programs are designed to reduce or eliminate stress as much as possible; this goes hand-in-hand with the other two qualities. We expect Pars Omni® classes to be an enjoyable enrichment of our students' lives - never one that tires or makes life more difficult.
  
  

Programs To Provide You With The Level Of Fluency You Desire

At Pars Omni we are committed to providing each student with his or her own customized program to attain the level of fluency in Spanish that he or she desires. As a student, you meet with a counselor at various steps along the way to ensure the best progress is being made towards your specific goals. Our programmed approach to fluency contrasts with the 'course focused' approach of most private and public language schools and universities; it is closer to the customized programs of private, individual tutoring offered at some private schools, but with the added advantages of our unique interactive group method.

Many of our students have taken language courses in high school or college or tried learning from tapes and books. But none has achieved a satisfying fluency in Spanish by these means. There is another way, and our overriding goal is to provide you with a program that allows you to communicate, at a rewarding social or business level, with Spanish speakers anywhere in the world.

Model Elementary School

One of Pars Omni's long-term projects is to establish a model elementary school organized around the principles developed by Drs. Lozanov and Gateva. The model school will serve as a teacher training center and as a demonstration site for educators. More information on this project will appear on this web site in the near future.
